Greetings!

Welcome to the Ann Story website! We are one of the 17 chapters in the Vermont State Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and a proud part of the National Society, which has a membership  of over 170,000. We hold meetings on the third Thursday of the month at different restaurants in the Rutland area;   September to November and January to May, and usually convene at 11:30 AM.
The motto "God, Home, and Country" expresses the central focus of our organization. The objectives of the National Society and our chapter are: Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism.
Our chapter was formed in 1893 and the name "Ann Story" was chosen to honor a brave pioneer woman who gave important support to the Revolutionary War effort.
Please browse the following pages to become better acquainted with our chapter. We would love to meet you!
